HTC’s Dream has surfaced on YouTube, showing a white smartphone running Android and sliding horizontally to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard. The phone in the video bears an uncanny resemblance to a “reference design” made by “a partner” of Google’s that was demonstrated by none other than Google’s own Andy Rubin back in February of this year.

TooDo 1.6 is a free Android application which enables the handheld user to manage and be reminded smartly of all the things he needs to be done.

TooDo is a smart to-do manager. It enables to define and share tasks with others via SMS. TooDo offers geographically-based notification reminders. TooDo proposes to capture textual, audio or video notes related to a to-do.

Memo Game 2.0 is a Memory game for the Android platform. An exciting board game, to be played for fun at all times. Even trains your brains.

The application, through a user friendly interface, offers the users the chance to play the well-known Memory game now on the Android platform. In Memo Game 2.0, compared to the Memo Game version 1.0, images are hidden under the tilesThe user is able to select a theme from the following: car brands, Disney-figures, fruits and flowers.

Instructions:
After the application is started, the game is on. The user needs to click on the tiles appeared on the screen and try to find a pair of matching tiles. If identical images are discovered under two different tiles – a matching pair was discovered. The game continues until all the tiles with identical images are found or the user leaves the game.

Android File Browser 2.0 is a simple file system explorer and launcher of applications. It is a slightly improved version of the previous browser and a tutorial for Android developers at the same time.

Comparing to the older version, Android File Browser 2.0 features graphic icons for each type of files. The source code and tutorial for developers are available from the developers website.

File System Explorer is a minimalistic system file browser written as a showcase for a simple Android application. The program lists system files and directories. Users can navigate through the directory structure by clicking on directories. Actually no files can be launched from the browser – the user get warned when a file is clicked.

AndroidCan Sudoku Challenge brings Sudoku to the Android platform. The game makes use of the unique Android user interface. It works as well in Touch Screen mode as with a standard numeric telephone key-board.

The game does not need a big instruction manual. Just select “?/Tutorial” from the menu to get an overview of how the intuitive user interface works. The game features 30 pre-installed Sudokus. Once those are solved, you can create an unlimited number of Sudokus in Free Play mode. You cannot access this feature right away though. The pre-installed Sudokus need to be unlocked and solved first.

This is alpha version 0.9. Without sound effects. Released on April 5th 2008. Developed and tested with SDK m5-rc15

Android jChat is an agent based chat application with GPS support for Android, based on the JADE agent framework.

It allows the user to communicate with any other contact having the same software running and connected to the same JADE platform. Users can send text IM in a chat like way, call a contact by phone or even send an SMS to a contact. Location of each contact can be seen on the map at any time and it is continuously updated.

Features of jChat:
* Contacts management: contacts are read from the phone contacts database.
* Persistence: you can see the status of all contacts connected to your own JADE platform.
* Real time localization: you can see the position of the contacts on the map and the distance from your current position. Localization uses the Android mocked GPS provider for tracking contacts position. You are able to import new custom tracks if you wish.
* Multiple chat sessions handling: you can open multiple chat sessions with different contacts and switch between them.
* Support for chat with many contacts in a single session.
* Mocked SMS sending and phone call to contacts.
